Netflix’s “She The People”
Project Overview:
Blank Space Agency partnered with Netflix to produce high-end photo and video content surrounding the private screening and brunch event for She the People, held on May 18, 2025, in Atlanta. While not an official activation, the Blank Space team seized the opportunity to execute a full-scale portrait and video production prior to guest arrival—delivering polished, cinematic content that captured the elegance and energy of the cast in under three hours.
Services Provided:
Editorial Portrait Production:
Blank Space Agency directed and produced a premium portrait session featuring key cast members of She the People, including Terri J. Vaughn, Jade Novah, Jo Marie Payton, and Dyon Brooks. A custom-built set and cinematic lighting design helped create visually elevated imagery that reflected each cast member’s unique presence. Portraits were professionally retouched and delivered post-event for social and promotional use.
Social Series Capture: “Hey Queen” Episode:
In addition to stills, the team captured a new episode of Netflix’s motivational monologue series Hey Queen on-site. With limited time and space, Blank Space Agency directed and filmed a high-production-value piece that maintained the series’ empowering tone, offering viewers an intimate, inspiring look at the talent behind She the People.
Production Efficiency:
All photography and video were completed ahead of the official event start, allowing the production to wrap and fully clear out before the broader VIP guest list arrived. The result was a seamless integration of branded content capture within a live event timeline—without disruption to the experience.
Outcome:
The content created by Blank Space Agency elevated Netflix’s promotion of She the People by delivering premium, editorial-grade visuals and video. With stunning portraits and a powerful Hey Queen episode captured in a tight window, the project showcased the cast in a refined, story-driven format. The final assets offered versatility across Netflix’s marketing channels while reinforcing the platform’s commitment to intentional, culture-forward storytelling.
